Who we are
Fitconnect Pro helps you discover, join, and host local sports and fitness events. The mobile app and fitconnect.app are operated by SameLink (BADREDDINE BENNOUI — BARBAROS MAH. LALE SK. AGAOGLU MY OFFICE NO: 2 IC KAPI NO: 13, ATASEHIR, Istanbul (Anatolia) 34746, Türkiye).
Your privacy matters. We aim to be clear about what we collect and how you stay in control.
What we collect
Depending on how you use the app, we may collect: account and profile information (name, email, optional phone, password or Google sign-in, profile photo, bio, favorite sports, organizer details, social links), events (titles, schedules, locations, photos, visibility, join requests), device and usage data, location (when permitted), photos and camera (for uploads or QR scans), calendar (if you choose to export), notification settings, and advertising IDs for ad features.
We do not require sensitive health data for core features. This app version does not offer AI chat or meal-analysis features.
How we use data
We use your information to: create and secure your account, show events and maps (including nearby recommendations with permission), process joins and event updates, display public profiles/events, send notifications, show relevant ads, prevent abuse, and improve the product. Aggregated, de-identified stats may be used for improving services.
We may use aggregated, de-identified statistics to understand usage trends. These are not used to identify you personally.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Data may be shared with: other users (for public events, profiles you make visible); service providers (hosting, Google services, email delivery, analytics, advertising); sponsors/affiliates (if you interact with offers); authorities when legally required.
Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy where applicable.
Location and permissions
Location access helps you find sports events near you. You control this in iOS or Android settings; some map features may be limited without it.
Camera, photo library, calendar, and notifications are requested only when a feature needs them. We do not access your contacts unless a future feature explicitly asks and you agree.
Advertising
Fitconnect Pro may show ads (Google AdMob) or sponsored listings related to sports and fitness. Ad partners may use device identifiers to measure delivery. You can limit ad tracking in your device settings.
We do not share your name or email with advertisers for their own marketing lists.
Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed to operate the service, resolve disputes, enforce our terms, and meet legal requirements. You can request deletion of your account and associated data via in-app Settings or by emailing info@samelink.io.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, and to withdraw consent (for example, for location or notifications). Contact info@samelink.io to exercise these rights.
Users in the EEA, UK, or Turkey may have additional rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, or KVKK.
Security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and industry-standard practices to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please contact us if you believe your account has been compromised.
Children
Fitconnect Pro is intended for users aged 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
If you believe a child has provided data, contact info@samelink.io and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy where permitted by law.
